Items in your cart are not reserved until checkout is completed. Due to limited inventory, products may sell out before your purchase is finalized.
Purchase Guarantee
Each purchase includes one individual dahlia tuber. If a listing includes more than one tuber, it will be clearly noted in the product description. All tubers are grown, divided, and carefully inspected at Henny Pen Acres, and each tuber is guaranteed to have at least one viable eye at the time of shipping.
If you have any concerns with your order, please contact us within 5 days of delivery so we can make it right. The sooner you reach out, the more likely we are able to offer a replacement, as some varieties are limited in quantity.
Tuber Health & Sanitation
We are committed to providing high-quality, healthy dahlia tubers. All tubers at Henny Pen Acres are carefully divided and handled using clean, sanitized tools and best practices to minimize the risk of disease transmission. Each tuber is visually inspected prior to shipping to ensure quality and viability.
While we take these precautions, dahlia tubers are living plant material and may carry naturally occurring viruses that are not always visible. We do not knowingly sell diseased or compromised stock.
Customer Responsibility
Henny Pen Acres is not responsible for tuber loss due to improper storage, planting conditions, weather, pests, or other acts of nature.
Please note, dahlia tubers naturally vary in shape and appearance—they may not look perfect, but with proper care, they will grow into beautiful blooms.
Upon Arrival
Please open and inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Planting and care instructions will be included, follow them closely for best results. If you are not planting right away, store tubers in proper conditions.
Shipping Timing
Tubers will ship when weather conditions are consistently above freezing and safe for transit, unless an earlier shipment is specifically requested by the customer.
If a customer requests early shipping, they acknowledge and accept the risk of potential weather-related damage. Henny Pen Acres is not responsible for loss or damage due to shipping earlier than recommended weather conditions.
Local Pickup Orders
Local pickup orders must be collected within the scheduled pickup window. Once your order has been prepared, we will contact you by email to arrange a convenient pickup time.
Returns & Refunds
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging. To start a return, you can contact us at hennypenacres@gmail.com.
Due to the perishable nature of dahlia tubers, returns may not be accepted once tubers have been planted, improperly stored, or damaged due to conditions outside our control.
Custom orders and special requests are also non-returnable.
